Part of the company’s T-series, the new T9 is the first phone from company to be priced sub-INR 5K in the country. Panasonic T9 is now available at e-retailers like IndiaTimes Shopping, Snapdeal and Saholic.com for starting INR 3,750. It can be grabbed in White, Blue or Black colour options.
For such a low-price, you will get basic features in the smartphone like a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 and 512MB of RAM. The phone also packs 2MP rear camera, VGA front snapper, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 2G EDGE connectivity. In addition, Panasonic has included 1300 mAh battery, dual-SIM support and FM Radio on T9.
On the software front, the phone seems to be running on stock-Android but it is yet to be officially confirmed. We are hoping to see an official announcement in the coming days.
