BlackBerry has finally unveiled its new BlackBerry Passport smartphone. It is a square-shaped smartphone which features both QWERTY keyboard and touch User Interface. The price of BlackBerry Passport is $599 and is now on sale in select markets around the world.
Talking about the features, BlackBerry Passport comes with a 4.5-inch of square display with 1440 x 1440 pixels resolution, 453ppi protected with Gorilla Glass 3 and powered by a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor with 3GB of RAM. On the back you will find a 13MP rear camera with OIS, 2MP front facing camera and a 3,450 mAh battery. The device runs BB10.3 Operating System and comes preloaded with Amazon Appstore.
Below that big and square display, you will find a three-row QWERTY keyboard, which according to the company will reduce typos by 74 percent. And this keyboard isn’t a normal one, it also comes with gesture support. You can easily tap or swipe across keys to navigate through the screen.
