Xiaomi Mi3 will be now not available on Flipkart for an indefinite time. The company has recently said that it will be now focusing on the Xiaomi Redmi 1S sale which will start on September 2. So, for now they are preferring to pause the Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone sale.
Hugo Barra, Xiaomi’s Global VP has said that the company has sold over 95,000 units of Xiaomi Mi 3 in India. When asked about the Xiaomi Mi 3 sale pause, Xiaomi India head, Manu Jain said:
Over next few weeks, we will focus on Redmi 1S, and Mi 3 wont be available. We will take the final call after few weeks, once we have more visibility / data points.
The sudden pause on Mi 3 sales will definitely disappoint lots of Mi 3 fans, who are still waiting to buy this low cost and impressive smartphone. Xiaomi Mi3 and Redmi 1s, both are the newly launched smartphone in India. So, we don’t know what Xiaomi is planning to do by focusing on one smartphone at a time.

It might be because they are not able to fulfill the MI 3 demand or it might be because of any other reason. But for now, Xiaomi Mi 3 fans will have to wait.
