Google Drive offers unlimited storage for $10 per month

Google I/O 2014 is going on and were expecting something to be from Google Drive. Sunder Pechai on stage, announced that Google Drive has about 190 million 30 days active users. They are not the registered users but are active within the last 30 days.

Google has added Drive for Work which now offers unlimited storage to users for just $10 per month. The price is not the only announcement about the Drive. The Google Drive has also got some major and important updates.

Now, users can encrypt data within Drive. Now, the word file would not be converted to doc file. It’s all handled natively under Drive. If you send the file to someone else through email, the file will get converted to a doc file.

He also shared few numbers about Corporates and Universities which are now going Google which include 72 of the top 100 universities.
