Lava has silently released a new budget Android smartphone in the Indian market. Part of the company’s IRIS series, the smartphone is dubbed as IRIS 503e and can be grabbed from brick and mortar stores as well as ebay.in for INR 6,749.
Coming to the specifications, Lava IRIS 503e features Android 4.2, 5-inch FWVGA display, 5MPe rear camera (unconfirmed as the site says 3MP but press renders show 5MP camera), and 2000 mAh battery. The phone also comes with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, and 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
In addition, Lava has pre-loaded a host of applications and games on the phone like Assassins Creed, Cricket Fever, Ninja Rush, Panditji, WhatsApp, Lava care, Lava Zone, To Do, Twitter, Opera mini, and OLX.
A downgraded version of the company’s previously launched IRIS 503 smartphone, IRIS 503e seems to be a decent phone on-paper but we would suggest you to spend a few thousand more and get better smartphone from the likes of Sony or LG.
