The LG G3 isn’t exactly a secret. LG has made references to the phone multiple times in the past, so we know that it is coming, although we guess the only thing we don’t know are its complete hardware specs and what it might look like. Sure, we’ve seen leaked photos but until LG makes it official, we suppose anything goes.
That being said, photos of the handset in the wild have been leaked and posted by @evleaks. The photos are allegedly that of the developer edition of the LG G3 for T-Mobile, so if you were hoping for a developer edition of the LG G3, you could be in luck, although pricing and availability have yet to be determined.
Unfortunately if you were hoping to catch a glimpse of the handset’s design, sorry to disappoint because it looks like the handset has been “lunchboxed”. This means that the phone has been encased in a secure case that basically prevents its design from being leaked, especially in situations like this where we still have no idea of what we can expect.
However if there’s one thing the photos shows us, is that the bezels on the phone appear to be pretty thin, as you can see in the image above. It’s a bit hard to tell from the photos that the phone will pack a QHD display, but presumably it does, based on our earlier leak. In any case LG will be unveiling the phone on the 27th of May, so check back with us then for the details.
