If a modern game developer set out to craft a video game franchise as odd, quirky, and uniquely fleshed-out as Metal Gear Solid, the smart money would be on failure. Yet Kojima Productions has turned the stealth action title into a modern epic, with Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain taking the action onto a new generation of home consoles. And after the game was shown off at E3 2014, the developers have now made the walkthrough demo available to anyone wishing to see it. Be warned: it will likely surprise in one way or another.
