Google brings Android to cars through Android Auto

Googla has finally showcased Android Auto. This is the same Android that people are uing, it has just been redesigned for the connected experience in car. As per the company, the Android Auto is contextually aware and brings relevant information for you.

It has also been optimized for voice recognition. This will allow user to use it completely hands-free. This feature is also introduced keeping the safety of users in mind.

It makes much use of Google Now and brings functions like Navigation, Text Messaging, Music. Everything that you see on screen is actually casted from your Android running smartphone. So, what is see on the screen is just the redesigned version of your phone’s UI for simple, easy and quick operation.

The Android Auto is set to arrive this fall. The first car with support of Android Auto will come out by the year’s end. An SDK for Android Auto is also coming soon.
