HTC’s next flagship Android smartphone is reportedly codenamed Hima. Previous devices from this lineup have been called HTC One (M7) and HTC One (M8). You would have been forgiven for expecting the upcoming smartphone to be called (M9) but it is being said that HTC might go with a different name this time around. While that remains to be seen, feast your eyes on these purported HTC Hima leaked pictures.
The company is rumored to stick with its infamous metal build which made the HTC One (M7) so popular, and did the same for last year’s flagship. Even the purported pictures show a metal build that we’re all very familiar with and a big display upfront.
The Duo Camera can be seen on the back even though it was rumored that HTC is going to ditch this setup in favor of a 20.7-megapixel shooter. So either that rumor is incorrect or these photos don’t show us HTC’s next flagship.
HTC Hima is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB RAM, a 13 megapixel front and 20.7 megapixel camera, 2,840mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop. Over the past few there have been conflicting reports about the display, it is not clear if this smartphone has a 2,560×1,440 pixel resolution Quad HD or a full 1080p HD display.
Rumor has it that HTC will unveil its next flagship earlier than initially planned. CES 2015 is said to be the venue, its merely a few days away, so we’ll find out for sure soon enough.
